As part of the transition plan from Home Hospital to St. Elizabeth East and St. Elizabeth Central, the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at Home Hospital is relocating to 4 East at St. Elizabeth Central. Along with the move, the unit will be changing its name to the St. Elizabeth Inpatient Rehabilitation Center.
The center will start seeing patients in the new location on Friday, Jan. 8, 2010. The new St. Elizabeth Inpatient Rehabilitation Center will have 18 private rooms and provide complete inpatient and day treatment therapies to persons 16 years and older. The center provides a diverse mix of physical, occupational and speech therapies for many conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injuries, fractures, neurological disorders and orthopaedic procedures.
After Jan. 7, the new phone number for the center will be (765) 423-6780.
