St. Elizabeth School of Nursing Alumni Association to host annual alumni luncheon Oct. 31

The St. Elizabeth School of Nursing Alumni Association will host its annual alumni luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Best Western Lafayette Executive Plaza and Conference Center, 4343 State Road 26 East in Lafayette from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Cost for the event is $25 per person and includes a meal option of pasta salad or a ham, turkey & bacon club on a croissant. RSVPs are required and are needed by Oct. 18, 2009.

During the luncheon, the alumni association will honor the following classes:

• Class of 1944 (65 years)
• Class of 1949 (60 years)
• Class of 1959 (50 years)
• Class of 1969 (40 years)
• Class of 1979 (30 years)
• Class of 1984 (25 years)
• Class of 1989 (20 years)
• Class of 1999 (10 years), and
• Class of 2009.

The alumni association will also present its annual outstanding alumni award. Previous recipients include:

• 2003: Helen Wortman, Class of 1947
• 2004: Thelma Neal, Class of 1955
• 2006: Judith Gudeman, Class of 1954
• 2007: Jean Eberhard, Class of 1952
• 2008: Eleanor Kay Mirich, Class of 1958
