St. Elizabeth Diabetes Center to present ‘It’s Never Too Early to Prevent Diabetes’ on April 21

The St. Elizabeth Diabetes Center will present “It’s Never Too Early to Prevent Diabetes” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. This program is for young and growing families, as well as mothers who had gestational diabetes or those with a family history.

The St. Elizabeth Diabetes Center staff will provide information on how one can reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Meal planning on a budget will also be discussed. Children are also welcome to attend the event; a healthy lifestyle program will also be available for children to participate in that evening.

The program will be at the Kathryn Weil Center for Education, located in the Medical Arts Building, 415 N. 26th St., Suite 400 on the campus of Home Hospital.

This program is free, but registration is required and can be made by calling the St. Elizabeth Diabetes Center at (765) 449-5180.-30-
